The GEF Secretariat is seeking to recruit an experienced senior environmental specialist to coordinate and lead its chemicals program, including new and growing challenges under the Stockholm Convention, new and on-going challenges under the Montreal Protocol, and an expanding mandate relative to mercury and sound chemicals management.

Country Relations Officer - Job # 101249

The External Affairs team is responsible for GEF’s work in the issue areas of communications and outreach, country relations, NGOs, private sector, corporate programs and capacity building.

The Country Relations Officer will work as an integral part of the External Affairs team and will report on a day to day basis to the Team Leader for External Affairs. This position will also work in close collaboration with other teams within the secretariat.
